Post Production Supervisor and Editor
Yesenia has over ten years of post-production and editorial experience. She began her career as a visual effects manager, but soon moved on to editing a wide variety of projects from commercials to reality television, from music videos to feature films. Most recently Yesenia edited The History Channel’s feature documentary The People Speak based on Howard Zinn’s seminal book “A People’s History of the U.S.” produced by Matt Damon, Josh Brolin and Chris Moore. She is presently writing, directing and editing a documentary on immigration issues. Her outstanding work for Deacon is informed by her strong commitment to using the art of storytelling to advance socially positive messages. Born in the U.S., Yesenia attended high school in Mexico and is bilingual in English and Spanish. |
Alicia ZaragozaCoordinator / Field Producer
Alicia comes to Deacon from the world of independent film production where she’s worked as 2nd AD & 1st AD on over a dozen feature films. Through her indie experience, Alicia has become a top-notch problem-solver and trouble-shooter. Whether on-set or in the office, Alicia uses her excellent organizing skills to keep everything Deacon is involved in running smoothly. A Chicago native, Alicia is bilingual in English and Spanish, holds a BA in Film & TV Production, and is a member of the Director’s Guild of America. She credits her love of television and movies to her beloved grandparents who forbid her from watching any media as a child. |

Max is responsible for Deacon Entertainment's digital footprint and evolving media ecology. With over twenty years of private consulting experience for film production and visual effects companies, as well as high net worth individuals and celebrities, Max is keenly aware of the unique demands of the entertainment industry in the new media age. A working screenwriter, Max has also led research projects for Deacon Entertainment including a proposed feature documentary on the Building Healthy Community initiative by the California Endowment. At age 15 he entered Bard College at Simon's Rock, has studied film and sociology at Goldsmith's College, London, and is an Ironman distance triathlete and USAT certified coach. |
